Dining Out For Life
Dining Out For Life (DOFL) is an annual fundraiser that brings restaurants throughout Western New York together with diners like you to raise funds for Evergreen Health’s services for people living with HIV.
Dine out to give back: October 8, 2025
It’s the easiest way to support people with HIV right here in your community: dine in or take out from a participating restaurant on Wednesday, October 8, 2025!
You can support by:
- Making plans to dine out or order take out October 8, 2025 at participating restaurants for breakfast, lunch, dinner — or all the above!
- Inviting everyone you know to do the same.
- Spreading the word online.
- Donating directly to Evergreen Health’s supportive services for people with HIV, and be entered to win a prize.
Why participate in Dining Out For Life?
Demand for Evergreen’s unconditionally accessible and affirming HIV services is higher than ever: we serve 29% more patients with HIV in 2025 than we did in 2023.
We’re a non-profit community health center serving some of our region’s most vulnerable patients, and we never turn anyone away due to an inability to pay. Our free and low-cost services for patients with HIV are supported in part by contributions from our community.
As federal funding for HIV prevention and care services continues to be put at risk, now more than ever, your support makes a real difference in the lives of people living with HIV right here in your community.
To top it all off, it’s a fun, celebratory event that lets you support local businesses and enjoy a delicious meal, all while making a difference.
We look forward to dining with you on October 8, 2025!

Western New York’s leading HIV care provider
Evergreen Health is the leading provider of HIV prevention and care in Western New York, with:
We’re also Western New York’s leading provider of PrEP (short for Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis), the prescription drug that, when taken as directed, greatly reduces your risk of becoming HIV positive.
Beyond medical care, we help patients who are living with HIV focus on reaching an undetectable viral load by supporting them with services like transportation assistance, housing assistance, health education, nutrition services, and care coordination.
40+ years of unconditional care for people living with HIV
Evergreen Health, founded in 1983 under the name AIDS Community Services, has been providing unconditional care to underserved communities for more than 40 years. We started as a small but mighty team of volunteers who gathered in 1983 to support Western New Yorkers who were affected by the then-emerging HIV and AIDS crisis.
Today, Evergreen continues to provide unconditional care to people living with HIV and to our entire community, and we couldn’t do it without your support. Every donation made through Dining Out For Life, or donated directly to HIV services at Evergreen, improves the lives of people right here in our community – we thank you so much for your support.
