Kim Lombard, MNM, associate vice president of grants management, is responsible for the determination, coordination and implementation of grants funding for Evergreen Health and affiliate Community Access Services.
She also collaborates with managers across the organization to plan and develop programming, including ensuring the proper systems and staffing necessary to meet grant contract and program needs.
Kim is often referred to as the glue of the organization, ensuring Evergreen employees in Buffalo and Jamestown are always connected and communicating to best advocate for patients and one another.
Known as “Lombard” by her coworkers, she is Evergreen’s longest-standing employee. She joined Team Evergreen in 1992 when the organization was known as AIDS Community Services (ACS) and was one of only 25 employees working on the front lines of the HIV/AIDS crisis in Western New York in the 90’s. In 2024, Kim and her team managed over 70 grant contracts totaling over $14 million dollars to support all facets of the healthcare system. Last year alone, Evergreen’s grant funding supported the patient-centered work done by over 120 employees.
When she’s not at work, Kim spends her free time volunteering as an active community member and is always lending a hand somewhere in Jamestown!
She was recently recognized as a Buffalo Business First 2025 Women of Influence honoree, which is a testament to her commitment to Evergreen and the community.
We’re proud to have Kim on our team! If you want to learn more about our open positions, benefits and what it’s like to work at Evergreen, visit evergreenhs.org/careers.
