May is Mental Health Awareness Month – it’s okay to ask for help

If you’re struggling with anxiety, depression, grief, trauma or other mental and emotional health concerns, please reach out to your primary care provider for a referral to our mental health department.

Our understanding providers meet you where you are, and work with you to create a care plan that works for you. Our mental health care services include individual and group counseling, psychiatry, substance use counseling, and referrals to other medical and supportive services.

To schedule an appointment, please contact us at 716.847.2441 (option 2).

All Evergreen Health locations, Community Access Services and the Pride Center of Western New York will be closed on Monday, May 26 in observance of Memorial Day. We will re-open on Tuesday, May 27 for normal business hours.

Hepatitis C Cure Day is May 24

Hepatitis C Cure Day is an opportunity to celebrate people who have cured their Hepatitis C Virus, encourage those at risk of Hepatitis C to get tested, and motivate patients with Hepatitis C to start or continue their treatment.

Hepatitis C is a liver infection that can be cured through antiviral medication with little to no side effects. Hepatitis C is acquired through contact with an infected person’s blood, most often through shared needles. Because there are often no symptoms, the only way to know you have it is to get tested.

To make a testing or treatment appointment, call us at 716.847.2441 (option 5).
