2026 Buffalo Pride Parade Set for Sunday, June 7

Starts at the intersection of Elmwood Ave. and Forest Ave., celebrating LGBTQIA2S+ community and history

BUFFALO, NY Buffalo Pride will host the annual Buffalo Pride Parade on Sunday, June 7. The parade steps off at 11 a.m. from the intersection of Elmwood Ave. and Forest Ave., proceeds south, and concludes near Elmwood Ave. and Allen St. at approximately 3 p.m.

The theme of this year’s event is “Rooted in Pride.” Parade participants are encouraged to let their creativity bloom and proudly represent Western New York’s LGBTQIA2S+ community and history.

A grandstand at Jack Rabbit will feature local judges presenting awards to five of the most creative and on-message parade groups. An ASL interpreter will also be onsite, and official TV sponsor Channel 7 News WKBW will livestream the parade from the grandstand.

The 2026 Buffalo Pride grandstand judges are:

  • Jacob Marsh, senior graphic designer for Evergreen Health and Buffalo Pride organizer,
  • Ari Moore, community representative,
  • Kimberly Pellino, Assistant Vice President, Workout Specialist, and member of M&T Bank’s Pride Employee Group – WNY Chapter,
  • and Erin Habes, Faculty Director of Buffalo State University’s RUNWAY.

The Pride Parade’s ADA friendly accessible viewing area will be located at Burchfield Penny at 1300 Elmwood Avenue.

The annual Buffalo Pride Parade is organized by Evergreen Health Foundation, an affiliate of Evergreen Health, and is presented by Evergreen Health and M&T Bank.

All profits of the Buffalo Pride Parade support the essential healthcare programs and services that Evergreen Health and its affiliates provide to Western New York’s LGBTQIA2S+ community, in addition to covering costs associated with the Parade.

“Buffalo Pride is a celebration of the creativity, resilience and history of Western New York’s queer community,” said Jacob Marsh, senior graphic designer for Evergreen Health and Buffalo Pride organizer. “As both an organizer and a judge, I’m excited to see how this year’s ‘Rooted in Pride’ theme is interpreted to honor the community and its history.”

“Buffalo Pride is a meaningful reminder that communities are strongest when people are empowered to show up authentically,” said Glenn Jackson, M&T Bank Head of Engagement and Belonging. “As a lead supporter of the Buffalo Pride Parade, we’re proud to celebrate the voices that shape our city and champion a community where everyone feels seen, respected, and valued.”

Buffalo Pride’s mission is to uplift the LGBTQIA2S+ community through the Buffalo Pride Parade and the community calendar, which spotlights Pride Month events that bring people together in the spirit of celebration, advocacy and unity.
