Community Access Services Celebrates CAS Day

Each February during Black History Month, Community Access Services celebrates an annual event with special significance – CAS Day.
CAS Day is celebrate every year on February 7 by the City of Buffalo in honor of the work CAS does to empower communities of color. Given it falls on a Saturday this year, we will be celebrating on Friday, February 6.
CAS Day takes place on Black HIV and AIDS Awareness Day, a day that has been commemorated in the United States since 1999 to acknowledge how HIV disproportionally affects Black communities.
CAS, an affiliate of Evergreen Health, empowers communities of color in Buffalo by addressing healthcare disparities and social determinants of health. To expand accessible, quality healthcare to more people in the community, CAS and Evergreen Health are partnering to bring a new healthcare facility to 3070 Bailey Avenue later this year, referred to as the Ken-Bailey Project.
