We are excited to announce that MOCHA Buffalo is becoming part of Evergreen Health. Founded in 1996 as the Men of Color Health Awareness Project, MOCHA Buffalo works to educate LGBTQ+ people of color about living a sex-positive life. By May 2021, MOCHA Buffalo will officially be within our Center for Supportive Services.
At Evergreen Health, we want you to live the life you want to live in a positive and healthy way. Our Health Education and Engagement programs welcome everyone and understand each person’s journey is different. We’re here to help you make good decisions about your health.
We offer a variety of in-house programs, but you will see us out in the community at health fairs, barber shops, colleges and more to provide free condoms and sexual health education.
If you are living with HIV, we have programs that create an individualized health regimen to lower viral loads to an undetectable level, enroll you in health insurance, or link you to non-intensive case management, mental health or substance use counseling. We also offer HIV education groups for individuals living with HIV every Tuesday and Thursday.
We offer free condoms, including specialty condoms, every day! Stop by our Condom Bar or invite our team to distribute them to your organization and the community.
